Englewood Railway Final Hours Slideshow

This is a strong slideshow of Aidan's photos capturing the last days of the Englewood Logging Railway. Sadly, he realized this would most likely be amongst the last video he (or anyone else) will ever produce of the Englewood Railway in the Nimpkish Valley. One month after the photos were taken, the railway was gone.

Englewood Railway Finale (Video)

This video shows the final moments of the Englewood railway in the Nimpkish valley. Since 2017 the railway sat idle until Westcan rail, in cooperation with Western Forest Products, started removing the rails and equipment. As of 2021 the railway has been removed.

Locomotives: 301, 302 and 304 have CAT 1,500 HP on there GMD/EMD SW1200RS chassis. Locomotive 303 never got upgraded and retains its 1,200 HP GMD engine. It is currently on display in the Woss, BC heritage park. All the other three locomotives have a uncertain future.
